TMZ–The people closest to Lindsay Lohan aren’t the only ones who are alarmed at her condition — some police officers who routinely come in contact with Lindsay tell TMZ they have thought seriously about forcing her to get help. Cops who see Lindsay at her worst — late nights and early mornings when she needs assistance avoiding the paparazzi — tell TMZ they have been concerned about her “erratic behavior” and “attitude” — which have grown progressively worse over the last few months. We’re told during one of Lindsay’s crazier nights out recently, cops became so concerned they discussed taking her in for a 5150 evaluation. Cops decided against it because she didn’t meet all the criteria for a 5150 — they felt she could still take care of herself — though feebly. Art Clokey, the creator of the whimsical clay figure Gumby, died in his sleep Friday at his home in Los Osos, Calif., after battling repeated bladder infections, his son Joseph said. He was 88.
Clokey and his wife, Ruth, invented Gumby in the early 1950s at their Covina home shortly after Art had finished film school at USC. After a successful debut on “The Howdy Doody Show,” Gumby soon became the star of its own hit television show, “The Adventures of Gumby,” the first to use clay animation on television.
After an initial run in the 1950s, Gumby enjoyed comebacks in the 1960s as a bendable children’s toy, in the 1980s after comedian Eddie Murphy parodied the kindly Gumby as a crass, cigar-in-the-mouth character in a skit for “Saturday Night Live” and again in the ’90s with the release of “Gumby the Movie.”

Cori Rist has been identified has Tiger Woods’ fifth mistress. Sources told the Daily News that Manhattan clubgoer Cori Rist, 31, is yet another blond beauty who has hit the sheets with Tiger. Sources say Cori Rist found the intrigue fun.
“He would get the presidential suite,” says the same source. “It was the ultimate in luxury. The trouble is, he never wanted to leave the room.”
A longtime buddy, someone Tiger Woods trusted, recalls the star introducing him to Rist: “I remember she was quite attractive,” says the pal.
After about six months of sneaking around, though, “[Cori Rist] started to get tired of being cooped up. She felt like a bird in a gilded cage.” We’re on the look for a Cori Rist photo or picture.
When the newspaper ran all of these claims past Rist, who lives in a posh pad on the East Side, she said simply “No comment at this time.”

Six years ago, Becky Griggs weighed over 350 pounds and was “slowly committing suicide.” But now, she is waking up at 5:00 every morning so that she can meet her clients at the gym by 5:30 because they want to learn how they can weigh 139 lbs like her.
That is right. Becky Griggs now weights in at roughly 139 pounds after weighin in at 352 pounds just over six years ago. She credits her weight loss to proper eating and exercise. She has gone from being totally fat, to a morning gym rat.
She said that growing up, she was always the pudgy kid, but in hindsight, she was only slightly overweight. In her mind, though, she was a fat girl.
“We are taught what is slim and skinny and pretty and right,” she said recently by phone, “but in reality, what is fit and healthy is a different thing.”
Positive self-image means a lot, she said, and it has been the key to her losing more than 200 pounds. Becky Griggs is really an example to us all.
